Remember when every other project had “backed by top-tier VCs” in their pitch deck? Those days are over. Many funds have dissolved or are on life support, with only skeleton crews left to collect whatever tokens haven’t been distributed yet. The smart money realized too late that maybe they should’ve just bought Bitcoin and called it a day.

3. Does the narrative have room to run?

Right now, compliance and stablecoins check these boxes—which explains why everyone’s suddenly interested in Hong Kong’s HashKey exchange token (HSK) despite its messy operations.

Meme Coins: Beyond the Frog

The only meme asset that interests me now is labubu—not because of some anonymous dev team but because it’s tied to an actual cultural phenomenon (Pop Mart) with global appeal. When luxury brands are struggling but your IP is opening stores next to Chanel, you might be onto something.
